Make a personal enquiryDimensions, materials & questionsPlan sitting and sleeping together
For a sofa bed, we need the footprint when closed and the available space when unfolded. Tell us your preferred sleeping dimensions and whether it will be used for sleeping occasionally or regularly.
We discuss the mechanism, padding and available versions personally, so your quotation suits your intended use.
Planning questions
Which dimensions matter for a sofa bed?
Note the width and depth when closed, the sleeping area you want and the free space in front of the sofa. Allow for doors, radiators and walkways when unfolded. We clarify the available overall dimensions and mechanism for your design.
Is every sofa bed suitable for everyday sleeping?
No. An occasional guest bed and a bed used every day have different requirements. Tell us how often you will use the sleeping function before we plan it. We discuss the sleeping area, padding and mechanism, and confirm the available design in your quotation.
