Springs or foam?
Spring mattresses
Steel springs work inside, with cushioning layers above. The airy core can carry heat and moisture away well. How springy or precisely responsive the mattress feels depends on the springs and construction.
We explain which spring core is used in the model offered.
Foam mattresses
The core is foam, without metal springs. How it adapts to the body varies with the foam and construction. Density, firmness and ventilation affect the feel.
Cold foam is a type of foam. Firmness rating and foam density describe different properties.

A topper sits on top of the mattress and changes how its surface feels. Choose one that suits your mattress and preferences.
